The Customisation menu is blocked

A Customisation page shows a forbidden state, redirects, or is missing from the sidebar. Check that you are the owner and in the right account.

A Customisation page may show a forbidden state, redirect, or disappear from the sidebar. Only the account owner can open these pages.

Most likely cause: you are not the account owner

Every Customisation page requires the Owner role. Admin, Editor, and Viewer users cannot open them, even though they can use most of the rest of MangoMap.

To verify:

  • Open MangoMap as you normally would and look at your role in the navigation or your profile. If your role is anything other than Owner, the Customisation menu is not available to you.

To fix:

  • Ask the account owner to make the change for you. The owner can update branding, localisation, domain, portal, and analytics on your behalf.
  • If you should be the account owner, ask the current owner whether ownership transfer is an option. There is no in-product surface for transferring ownership.

Less common: the Analytics page is blocked but other pages open

If Brand, Localisation, Domain & whitelabel, and Portal config open for you but Analytics shows an upgrade prompt, you are the owner but your subscription does not include the Google Analytics integration. See The Analytics page shows an upgrade prompt.

Less common: you are signed in to the wrong account

If you belong to more than one MangoMap account, confirm that you are signed in to the account you intended.

The Customisation menu for one account is not visible from another, even if you are the owner of both. Switch accounts and try again.

Less common: the URL is wrong

A typo in the account name or a stale link from a different account shows as a missing or forbidden page.

Open the menu from the admin sidebar (Global settings > Customisation) rather than typing or pasting a URL.

If none of the above

Ask support to check your account ID, the account name in the URL you used, and your role. Include a screenshot of what you see.
