Use this page to check profile fields, validation rules, and password requirements.

## Access

| Page | Availability |

| Organisation fields | Account owner, except on partner-managed accounts |

## User profile fields

| Field | Editable | Save behaviour |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Role | No | Read-only account-role chip |
| `Name` | Yes | Saves when the field loses focus or Enter is pressed |
| `Email` | Yes | Validates the address, then opens verification |
| `Company Name` | Eligible owners | Saves when the field loses focus or Enter is pressed |
| `URL Slug` | Eligible owners | Opens a separate validation and confirmation dialog |

An eligible owner has an account that a partner does not manage.

## Email verification controls

| Control | Requirement |
| --- | --- |
| `Code` | Required; sent to the proposed email address |
| `Current password` | Required |
| `Verify` | Submits both values |
| `Resend Verification Email` | Requests a new code for the proposed address |

Closing the dialog before verification leaves the existing email unchanged.

## URL slug rules

MangoMap changes uppercase letters to lowercase and spaces to hyphens.
| Rule | Requirement |
| --- | --- |
| Length | 3–50 characters |
| Characters | Letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores |
| First and last character | Cannot be a hyphen or underscore |
| Availability | Cannot already belong to another account |

Saving redirects the current browser to the profile page under the new slug. Existing account URLs are not redirected.

## Password fields

| Field | Requirement |
| --- | --- |
| `Current Password` | Required |
| `New Password` | Required and must pass every strength rule |
| `Confirm New Password` | Required and must match the new password |

## New-password rules

| Rule | Requirement |
| --- | --- |
| Length | At least 8 characters |
| Lowercase | At least one lowercase letter |
| Uppercase | At least one uppercase letter |
| Number | At least one number |
| Special character | At least one supported special character |

A successful password update signs out other sessions and starts a new session in this browser.
